If you are in the market for antique jewelry, there are 5 basic categories to choose from: Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Estate, Edwardian and Victorian. All are unique and beautiful in their own way, and the only way to determine which category is best is to choose the one that attracts your eye and tickles your fancy.
For me, I tend to lean towards Estate Jewelry. I like previously owned pieces as they are usually very affordable, especially when compared to the prices of new pieces. The variety at Estate sales is excellent as well.
